Worle inNorth Somerset ,England . Due to its short platforms, long express trains do not call very often. However there are a fewHigh Speed Trains to and fromLondon Paddington which do call at Worle - however the platforms are too short for these trains. The station is 26 km (16 miles) south east ofBristol Temple Meads on theBristol to Taunton Line .Some offices were built alongside the station at the time of opening known as "Worle Parkway", a name sometimes mistakingly also used for the station.
Being located close to the
M5 motorway andA370 road , it has been suggested on several occasions that it would be sensible to extend the platforms so that longer trains could call.History
