Emporia High School

Emporia High School is a high school located in Emporia, Kansas. The school mascot is the Spartan. The school serves approximately 1,100 students including seniors.

Emporia High School offers a wide variety of extra-curricular opportunities. Approximately 75% of EHS students participate in one of the many organizations. There is one head principal, four assistant principals, four counselors and over 150 teachers. Emporia High School is a comprehensive four-year high school with 11 academic departments, advanced-placement and honors courses, and opportunities for students to earn dual high school and college credit through Emporia State University. Juniors and seniors also have the option to attend class at Flint Hills Technical College across the street for a portion of the day. Emporia High School offers 43 athletic and non-athletic programs. Emporia High School is very diverse with people from different races, cultures and ethinicities.
