After winning a
Gregory Award in 1989 he refused an offer from an Englishpublisher , electing instead for the Welsh based company Seren. His work has been widely anthologised and poems regularly appear injournal s such asPoetry Wales andThe Times Literary Supplement . He recently received a published writer's award fromAcademi .Other interests
Paul Henry is also a
creative writing tutor , regularly running courses at Wales's writers' centre (Ty Newydd ) and haslecture d at theUniversity of Glamorgan . Now based inSouth Wales , he has read his poetry at various venues andfestival s across the UK andEurope . Henry is currently a featured poet in the UK pages ofPoetry Web International .Works
