The Russia Journal

"The Russia Journal" is an independent, English-language, web news daily from Russia published also as a monthly glossy print magazine available by subscription. It was founded in 1998 by Ajay Goyal as a newspaper. It publishes business news, analysis, commentary and information from Russia and is one of the few independent media in Russia not controlled by oligarchs. It has been very critical of the takeover of Russian industry and natural resources, such as oil by oligarchs.Fact|date=February 2007
