Michelle Barrett (born July 17, 1981) is a British glamour model, adult film actress, and entrepreneur who has starred in 219 adult movies.^[1] Throughout her films she has been credited under several variations of her name, including Michelle B., Michelle Louise, Michelle Barratt, and Shelly Louise.

Barrett entered the adult industry in 2000 and as a prolific performer, has appeared in hundreds of titles throughout her career, working for production companies such as Red Light District, New Sensations, Digital Playground, and Zero Tolerance.^{[citation needed]} She has done work in Britain as well as the United States.

Early Life & Discovery

Born on the 17th of July, 1981 in Sheffield, England; Michelle began modelling at the age of 15, posing for magazines and puzzle books. At age 19, she started modeling in adult and men's magazines, doing spreads for Mayfair, Men Only, and Hustler.^{[citation needed]}

She began her professional adult film career in the year 2000 with the US based Red Light District Video Production Company.^{[citation needed]}

Career

In the year 2000, after a few months of amateur work in England for low budget studios, she pursued work in the US. When talking about the reason for the move, Barrett has stated that she dislikes working for adult production companies in her native England stating that "they take forever and aren't as professional".^{[citation needed]}

She lives in the city of Sheffield, in the north of England and travels to the US to shoot videos. Typically, she'll fly out for a few months of the year and perform in 1 or 2 scenes per day until she flies back to England.

Appearances include Red Hot TV, as well as the adult channel Television X and was part of their 15th birthday celebratory photoshoot. Barret has worked with several well-known photographers, including Suze Randall.^[2]
