Chloe Dolandis (born 21 February 1985) is an American singer-songwriter, voice actor and TV host. An independent artist, her 2011 debut album, Bring Back The Fever, was penned by Dolandis and her writing team, and produced and engineered by Grammy winner Zach Ziskin. Within one week of its release, the jazz-pop-soul album was listed as number 19 in the Top 300 iTunes Jazz Album Downloads (www.top100musicdownloads.com). The video of her first single, “New Suit“, was totally self-produced, directed and shot by Dolandis, her mother and a friend. “New Suit” is the official song of Dress for Success Palm Beaches, a charitable organization with whom she partners.

Childhood and early beginnings

Born in New York and raised in North Miami Beach and Boca Raton by her dancer-actress-singer mother and musician-teacher father, Dolandis began studying dance at age five. She entered the world of musical theatre when she was seven at a community theatre summer camp, turning pro at age ten as the understudy in Annie Warbucks at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Throughout high school she starred in musical theatre productions and won local and state awards as a member of the International Thespian Society. In 2004 Dolandis was the first place winner of the Boca Raton/South Florida Chapter’s Musical Theatre Competition for the National Society of Arts and Letters. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2007 from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Arts and Humanities, with minors in Commercial Music and Communications.

Mainstream

An on air personality for Nickelodeon’s SPLAT! and Friday Night Slimetime, Dolandis has also been featured on Showtime in Harlem (formerly Showtime at the Apollo), NBC's Fame, VH1's In Search of The Partridge Family, and The Discovery Channel’s New Detectives. She has hosted many South Florida events including “Battle of the Bands” and “Teen Cabaret” for Boca Raton Educational TV, as well as hosting and field producing college campus tour videos for YOUniversityTV. A voice over artist for HBO Latin America, Dolandis has also provided the English voice for numerous foreign films and cartoon series including Mini Goddesses, El Arca (Disney Spain), Combo Ninos, and Peppa Pig (Cartoon Network).

Music

An accomplished singer, Dolandis has been named one of the Magnificent Seven by Boca Raton Magazine, and at age 25 was featured in Boca Life Magazine’s The 40 Under 40 as one of South Palm Beach County’s rising stars. City Link Magazine says “The Girl Can Wail”. Boca News has called her a “Powerhouse”, and Goldcoast Magazine has labeled her “The Song Bird.” She has performed the national anthem for the Florida Marlins, the Miami Heat, the Florida Panthers, the ESPN Firefighter Combat Challenge, the Andy Roddick Charity Foundation, and at several events for Florida Atlantic University and throughout South Florida. Dolandis’ vocal prowess won her the titles of Miss FAU and FAU Idol, and hers is the voice in the Warner Brothers recording, “Flying Free”, which became popular among Taiwanese baseball fans in 2010. Upon winning the first ever Rising Star competition Dolandis celebrated January 13, 2004 as “Chloe Dolandis Day”, proclaimed by the mayor of Boca Raton for her win, as well as her expansive community service efforts with Boca Raton’s Promise, BRET and Teen Cabaret. When she is not performing, Dolandis enjoys songwriting, traveling, vegetarian cooking, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends. She also has over 1,000 pig collectibles.
