Glack (Irish: An Glaic; i.e. "The hollow") is a small
village inCounty Londonderry ,Northern Ireland , 4 km south of Ballykelly, in an elevated position overlookingLough Foyle . It is designated as a Hamlet and in the 2001 Census it had a population of 183 people. The village comprises three separate clusters of development. There are only limited local facilities, with Sistrakeel Primary School in the most western cluster and one significant commercial business (Pargon Tiles Ltd). The most recent development is, is Glackmore which consists of 24 homes.
Education
Sistrakeel Primary School school has little over 50 pupils, and has neared closure in recent years. Most pupils go to the main primary school, located in Ballykelly.
