village in theVale of Glamorgan ,Wales .Location
The village is situated on the A48 about four miles east of
Cowbridge and near the Welshcapital city ofCardiff .History & Amenities

Simon de Bonville , aNorman nobleman , hence the name of the village, though different in English and theWelsh language it refers to the same person.St Mary 'sparish church , rebuilt in theVictorian era style retains a latemediaeval Sanctus bell.The village has three
pub s, The Red Lion, The Old Post and The Aubrey Arms. There is a corner shop called the oldvillage shop .The main
