Teemore

Teemore ( _ga. An Tigh Mór) is a small village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, near Derrylin. In the 2001 Census it had a population of four hundred people. It is situated in the Fermanagh District Council area. Included in the population of the village are the Quinn family, headed by billionaire businessman Dr. Seán Quinn, who have recently moved into a new £15 million home in nearby Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan. Ironically perhaps, the name derives from the Irish An Tigh Mór meaning "the great house".

The official opening of the Shannon-Erne Waterway took place at Corraguil Lock, Teemore on 23 May 1994.
