Economics

Beale is an Austrian School economist and is very critical of Marxist, Keynesian, and Monetarist economics. While he favors an economics-based approach to many areas outside of economics, he is skeptical of the actual ability of economists to measure the data by which economic decisions are made. In a 2002 column, he demonstrated how the difference between the official and revised GDP numbers exceed 100 percent. He has repeatedly claimed that the official Consumer Price Index underestimate the real rate of inflation by a factor of four or more.

Christian theology and atheism

Beale is an Open Theist who has publicly expressed skepticism about God's omniscience. In The Irrational Atheist, he wrote "it is important to note that the Christian God... makes no broad claims to omniscience." He coined the term "omniderigence", which describes the doctrine of Calvinists and others who believe that God is responsible for acts of evil as divine puppet mastery. In The Irrational Atheist he postulates a Game Designer God that is loosely based on the simulation hypothesis of Nick Bostrom as a potential answer to the theological problem of evil and also claims to refute the Euthyphro Dilemma. He describes atheists as being "irrational" and "clowns of reason" [cite web

] and blames their lack of belief in the existence of God on a "social autism" which he conjectures is the result of a mild form of Asperger's Syndrome.

Feminism, multiculturalism and equality

Beale's views on equality, women's rights, and illegal immigration have been controversial. [ [http://atheism.about.com/b/2005/08/09/womens-rights-a-disease-that-should-be-eradicated.htm Austin Cline's Agnosticism] at About.com] He is an elitist who describes himself as "openly and avowedly anti-equalitarian" and calls equality "totally absurd" and "an empirical fiction" because it "demonstrably doesn't exist in any material sense." In his commentary on abortion, he has written that calling a feminist a feminazi is "an insult to National Socialism". [cite web

] He also wrote that according to the traditional Judeo-Christian ethic only a woman who is not entertaining the possibility of sex with a man can be considered a "wholly innocent victim under this ethic" should she be raped, and that rape is no better or worse than extramarital sex from a moral perspective because "Christianity knows no hierarchy of sins." ] In September 2004, Day publicly challenged conservative commentator Michelle Malkin to an on-air debate on the Northern Alliance Radio Show after writing a pair of columns criticizing numerous factual inaccuracies in her book "In Defense of Internment". Malkin declined the debate. In May 2006, Day was repeatedly criticized on air by national radio host Michael Medved for an article published on WorldNetDaily in which Day argued for the feasibility of deporting illegal immigrants "en masse" from the United States by saying that the Nazis accomplished a deportation of comparable scale in a few years. Medved called the libertarian Day "Nazi boy" and "Nazi-lover" and claimed that "he was basically taking a Nazi position."
