KKEY-LP is a low-power television station in Bakersfield, California, transmitting over analog channel 11. The station is owned by Newport Television and is a Telemundo affiliate.

KKEY-LP is a sister station to KGET-TV, an NBC affiliate.

On April 20, 2007, Clear Channel entered into an agreement to sell its entire television stations group to Newport Television, a broadcasting holding company established by the private equity firm Providence Equity Partners.cite press release|title=Clear Channel Agrees to Sell Television Station Group to Providence Equity Partners|publisher=Clear Channel Communications|url=http://www.clearchannel.com/Corporate/PressRelease.aspx?PressReleaseID=1943|date=2007-04-20|accessdate=2007-04-20] This deal closed on March 14, 2008. However, due to Providence Equity Partners' partial ownership stake in the Spanish-language network Univision, the owner of MyNetworkTV affiliate KUVI-TV, KKEY-LP will be sold along with KGET-TV and five other stations (KGPE in Fresno, California, KTVX and KUCW in the Salt Lake City, Utah DMA, WOAI-TV in San Antonio, Texas and WTEV-TV in Jacksonville, Florida) to High Plains Broadcasting. However, due to KKEY's low-power status, it was excluded along with KTVX from the deal, which was finalized on September 15, 2008. Newport Television continues to operate KGET through a shared services agreement.
