:"This article discusses the Indian title. For other meanings, see KhanKhan Sahib (Bengali: খান সাহিব, Hindi: खान साहिब, Urdu: خان صاحب) was a formal title, a compound of khan (leader) and sahib (Lord), which was conferred in Mughal and British India.

It a title of honour, one degree higher than Khan, conferred on Muslims and Parsis, and awarded with a decoration during British rule.

It also refers informally to the individual: Khan Abdul Jabbar Khan.
