"Saying Sorry" is the first single taken from Hawthorne Heights second studio album "If Only You Were Lonely". The lyrics seem to tell the story of someone who falls in love, but is actually about JT's father's drinking problem, however after making this person cry they feel like saying "sorry" Fact|date=September 2008. The song reached the top ten on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, the first such accomplishment for the band.
