Clipperstown station is within walking distance of (and clearly visible from) the larger Carrickfergus station. The timetable allows one minute for the train to travel from Clipperstown to Carrickfergus.
The station was opened on 1 April 1925.[1]
Service
Mondays to Saturdays there is a half hourly service to Carrickfergus with one train an hour continuing to Larne Harbour and a half hourly service to Belfast Central operated by Northern Ireland Railways with extra services at Peak Times.
On Sundays there is a two hourly service in each direction.
