History

At the beginning of the 2004-2005 school term Haybridge (a 13-18 school) merged with Hagley Middle School (a 9-13 school) which made it an 11-18 school. Hagley Middle School was served by a number of smaller first schools, these first schools have now been made primary schools to serve Haybridge. Haybridge recently merged into site located on Brake Lane, it changed in september 2006 previously it had been 2 sites, 1 for the lower years (7 and 8) and one for the higher years and sixth form. To accommodate the extra students a considerable amount of building work has taken place. (total building costs of around £25.1 million).

Academics

The Ofsted Report (2004-2005) for the school showed that the school is performing well. All marks given were 1 (for Excellent) except a 2 (for Good) for Food and Health. Since the Ofsted report, the school has been named "Outstanding" by Ofsted. [ [http://cms.www.haybridge.worcs.sch.uk/files/docs/aboutTheSchool/OFSTED_report_2005.pdf Ofsted report 2005.] ]
