In 2003, the album was ranked number 348 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.[7] The album is also listed in The Rough Guide to Blues 100 Essential CDs[8] and 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.[9]
This album was remastered and rereleased on CD in 2001 by MCA, including four extra monaural studio tracks.
