Rooster Booster (horse)

Rooster Booster (horse)

Rooster Booster (born 1994) was a grey British-based thoroughbred racehorse, trained by Philip Hobbs and owned by Terry Warner. He won the 2003 Champion Hurdle and was runner up in 2004. The horse died on the gallops in December 2005 while preparing for the Christmas Hurdle on Boxing Day.

The indie band Rooster derived their name from Rooster Booster after their lead singer placed a bet on the horse.
