next_route=115State Route 114, or Peppers Ferry Road, is a primary
state highway in Pulaski and Montgomery Counties,Virginia ,United States . It connects U.S. Route 11 at Fairlawn with U.S. Route 460 in Christiansburg. The eastern terminus of Route 114 is at an interchange with US 460 in the town of Christiansburg. Peppers Ferry Road proceeds past the New River Valley Mall and the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. It then crosses from Montgomery County into Pulaski County at a bridge over the New River. Route 114's western terminus is at the intersection with US 11 at Fairlawn, just northwest of Radford.
In Pulaski County, Route 114 is a divided highway. However, the north half of the highway closes near the bridge over the New River. For some time there were construction signs in this area, apparently to repair or upgrade the northern bridge. The signs were removed in 2005, and the northern half of Route 114 remains closed.Fact|date=February 2007Or|date=September 2007 On the Montgomery County side of the bridge, the road divides again for about half a mile, before collapsing to a two-lane highway. Near the New River Valley Mall it expands to four and then six lanes (plus a center left turn lane) to accommodate traffic. At the interchange with US 460 it is a four lane road.
