Company of Seven , Keoghtom is great friends withZagyg andMurlynd . He is close to the archmageMordenkainen and the hero-deityHeward (who are kin), and is an associate ofCelestian , the Far Wanderer. He was sponsered to godhood byFharlanghn .Realm
Keoghtom is seldom, if ever, found on the
Prime Material Plane in the present day, preferring to roam theAstral Plane and similar planes and to visit the various demiplanes whereMurlynd and his other associates dwell. He believes by traveling the planes, he will one day find enlightenment.Dogma
Keoghtom teaches that the natural world has a pattern that can be discerned to those attuned to it, a pattern which natural phenomenon, the various planes of existence, and every soul is a part. His followers seek to discover this secret in nature, alchemy, and exploration.
Worshippers
Keogtom has few followers, though they are found nearly anywhere, and are from a variety of backgrounds and ideologies. He is especially popular among alchemists.
History
Keoghtom is believed to have been born sometime around the 2nd century BCY in the
Sheldomar Valley , some 300 years following the Great Migrations. As a mortal, Keoghtom dabbled in theOld Faith , theFaerie Mysteries , and the secrets of theSilent Ones , yet never became fully indoctrinated by any of them. His travels eventually brought him into the service (and friendship) of Fharlanghn, and into theCompany of Seven , an adventuring band led byZagig Yragerne . After Zagig attained godhood, Keoghtom retreated to theCeladon Forest , and then fromOerth entirely.Keoghtom's ointment
