Goostrey railway station serves the village of Goostrey in Cheshire. The station is on the Crewe to Manchester Line 16 km (10½ miles) north east of Crewe.

User Group

Goostrey railway station has its own User Group, G.R.U.G. (Goostrey Rail User Group) - for friends of Goostrey railway station. The main aims of G.R.U.G. are to:

* Improve and maintain the station premises and facilities provided.
* Work with Northern Rail and Goostrey Parish Council and other relevant organisations in maintaining and improving the rail service provided for Goostrey.G.R.U.G. produces a newsletter on the 1st of every month. Membership is free to all.

ervice

There is generally an hourly service southbound to Crewe and northbound to Manchester Piccadilly via Stockport with some services to Manchester via Manchester Airport. On Sundays there are three services a day in each direction. Services are operated by Northern Rail.
