dancer ,choreographer ,writer , andactor .Viktor Manoel was born and raised in
Mexico . His charismatic,androgynous look and unique style of dancing captured the imaginations of choreographersÉdouard Lock of Canadian dance groupLa La La Human Steps andToni Basil . Toni instantly hired him for David Bowie's world stadium "Glass Spider Tour" after she spotted him performing in a L.A. nightclub in 1987. Manoel has performed in numerous shows including "Open Doors" and "Whistle Revisited" (based onStephen Sondheim 's "Anyone Can Whistle"), as well as withJamaica n-born pop divaGrace Jones , andCanadian singerNorman Iceberg .Viktor Manoel has also appeared in movies such as "Staying Alive" (1983) directed by
