- Stateless society
Stateless society describes a society without a
government . It is generally the goal ofanarchist s who believe that government is both unnecessary and also directly evil in that it infringes on the personal and economic freedoms of people.Anarchists of different stripes disagree heavily on the exact form of this final society, but basic principles that most agree on are the non-existence of a central
state and theprivatization of formerly public functions such as thelegal system and military protection (which would be replaced with private defense agencies).http://www.gmu.edu/departments/economics/bcaplan/anarfaq.htm#part1]Somalia , from 1991 to present, is cited as a real-world example of a stateless society.cite web
