creamery headquartered inFargo, North Dakota . It was founded in 1934 in neighboringMoorhead, Minnesota . It is owned and run by Midwestern Dairy Farmers. It is also the official dairy of theMinnesota Vikings .History
*1935 Cass-Clay Cooperative Creamery opened first plant in Moorhead Minnesota
*1941 Moved into new building which made bottled milk and ice cream
*1952 First creamery to use winger process, ships milk to U.S. Troops,Alaska ,Hawaii ,Panama , andSouth America
*1956 Replaced glass bottles with paper cartons
*1957 Moved to Fargo, ND
*1963 Makes chocolate milk for vending machines
*1968-1981 Buys several North Dakota and Minnesota dairies and creameries
*1985 Introduces Calci-Skim milk
*1989 Opens distribution center inWilliston, North Dakota
*1999-2000 Remodeled Fargo plantProducts
