Gerard Casey (philosopher)

Dr Gerard N. Casey (1951) is a member of the School of Philosophy in University College Dublin (Head from 2001-2006). [See his UCD Homepage, below, for more detail] . He was active in Irish politics between 1993 and 1999 and founded the pro-life focused Christian Solidarity Party. He is now apolitical with libertarian and (philosophically) anarchistic tendencies. He appears from time to time on radio and TV on topical social and political issues. His philosophical interests include the Philosophy of Economics, Philosophy of Law and Philosophy of Music.
