Caldervale Line and theEast Lancashire Line join at Gannow Junction near Rose Grove, but there are no direct services between here and Burnley Manchester Road. Trains go instead towards Burnley Central and Colne.The station is a long
island platform , with a disused bay platform at each end. There is an information board at the station entrance. It is unmanned.Rose Grove was formerly the site of an

On weekdays, there is an hourly service from Rose Grove to Colne (eastbound) and Blackpool South via Preston (westbound). On Sundays, there is a two-hourly service in each direction.
