Rose Grove railway station serves the western area of Burnley in Lancashire, England, 17 km (11 miles) east of Blackburn railway station.

The Caldervale Line and the East Lancashire Line join at Gannow Junction near Rose Grove, but there are no direct services between here and Burnley Manchester Road. Trains go instead towards Burnley Central and Colne.

The station is a long island platform, with a disused bay platform at each end. There is an information board at the station entrance. It is unmanned.

Rose Grove was formerly the site of an engine shed, which was one of the last to house steam locomotives on British Railways. [ [http://www.burnley.gov.uk/downloads/SWBurnley_Appraisal.pdf Burnley Borough Council] . Accessed 27 October 2007.] The site is now beneath the M65 motorway, which runs beside the railway at this point.

During 1989, Rose Grove was the starting point for an Inter City "Holidaymaker" Saturday service the 06:56 to Paignton and the terminus for the 14:20 from Paignton return journey.

ervices

On weekdays, there is an hourly service from Rose Grove to Colne (eastbound) and Blackpool South via Preston (westbound). On Sundays, there is a two-hourly service in each direction.
