"The Eagle Shooting Heroes" (zh-t|t=射鵰英雄傳之東成西就 (Cantonese: Se diu ying hung ji dung sing sai jau); the on-screen Romanized title is Dong Cheng Xi Jiu, abbreviated from the Mandarin) is a 1993 wuxia comedy film from Hong Kong, directed by Jeff Lau Chun-Wai. The film is a parody of the novel "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", written by Jinyong.
Production
The movie was said to be caused by the over-budgeting of Wong Kar-Wai's "Ashes of Time". In order to cover up the cost of the yet unfinished movie, the director decided to use the whole cast to shoot a "quick-and-dirty" movie for show during the Chinese Lunar New Year, a period for Hong Kong movie industry to harvest the cash.

In addition to a score by James Wong, the film contains a song set to the overture from Gioacchino Rossini's "Guillaume Tell", as well as uncredited excerpts from "L'amour est un oiseaux rebelle" from Georges Bizet's "Carmen" and "Danse des petits cygnes" from Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake".
