Notable_instruments =Fun 100 were a Canadian
indie rock band fromAbbotsford, British Columbia . They formed on the first day of the year 2000. They now mostly play in and aroundVancouver , and have gone on two tours acrossCanada .The band's name came from a roll of stickers that said FUN 100 on them. Since they already had the stickers, they decided to go with the name for their band.
Fun 100 broke up after playing a few shows scheduled in
2007 , including one withPolysics . [http://fun-100.com/news/index.htm]Influences

Fun 100 played their final show on February 3, 2007 at Mount Pleasant Community Centre. Other bands featured were
Sudden Infant Dance Syndrome ,the Doers , and the Badamps. As Fun 100 prepared to take the stage, police responded to several noise complaints and a head injury incident and told the organizers to shut down the show. This compounded with equipment problems, and there was some doubt that Fun 100 would even play a single song. The audience, seemingly unable to wait any longer, started to sing the vocals without any instruction. Fun 100 played a four-song set, starting with the audience singing solo, then ending with the power being cut and an extended drum finale to "Hot Popular Girl".Band members in other projects
