Rami Malek ( _ar. رامي مالك) (born May 12, 1984) is an American actor [http://www.afterelton.com/archive/elton/people/2007/2/ramimalek3.html] of Egyptian descent. He played Kenny in the Fox network sitcom "The War at Home". He also guest starred in an episode of "Medium", an episode of "Gilmore Girls", and two episodes of "Over There". Malek appeared as the pharaoh Ahkmenrah in the 2006 comedy film, "Night at the Museum". He also voiced additional characters in "Halo 2", but wasn't credited.

Malek received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of Evansville. He currently lives in Los Angeles.

In the spring of 2007, Malek appeared in the Vitality Productions theatrical presentation of "The Credeaux Canvas" by Keith Bunin.
