USS Randolph

Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS "Randolph", after Peyton Randolph, a member and first president of the Continental Congress.

* The first USS|Randolph|1776|2 was a sailing frigate launched in 1776, and which exploded in 1778 during an engagement with HMS "Yarmouth".
* The second USS|Randolph|CV-15|3 was an aircraft carrier that served from 1944 to 1969.
