Hacıbektaş, formerly Karahüyük, is a town and district of Nevşehir Province in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. Notable residents

The Turkish Sufi philosopher Hacı Bektaş Veli, to whom the town owes its current name, lived in the area in the 14th century.
