Hanover, New Hampshire , in theUnited States . It is located in southwestern Grafton County, approximately convert|3|mi|km|lk=on east of Hanover's downtown and convert|2.5|mi|km|abbr=on south of the village of Hanover Center, onMink Brook . Appalachian Trail passes a mile or so north of the village before it turns northeast to cross Moose Mountain on its way to Lyme.
