Joshua Ang Ser Kien is a Mediacorp actor from Singapore who starred alongside Shawn Lee in the box office hit film "I Not Stupid" and its sequel "I Not Stupid Too".

Career

Joshua started acting in 2002, with no prior experience, encouraged by his aunt to try out. He got selected after a few months.After much success, Jack Neo, his then mentor, cast him in Homerun, another successful film. Joshua soon rose to stardom and was casted in more films, including a non-Jack Neo film Nobody's Child.

In 2008, after completing his BMT, Joshua signed a contract with Mediacorp as a full-time actor.

Life outside acting

Joshua Ang studied in Pasir Ris Secondary School and was in the Media Club. He took Pure Science and Double Maths as subjects. Joshua is also the godbrother of Dasmond Koh. Joshua finished his National Service in July 2008.

According to an interview, Joshua currently does not have any plans to further his studies.
