Tiptoe through the Tulips ." The same recording appeared on Tiny Tim's concurrent debut LP "God Bless Tiny Tim ". This version of the song was arranged by Artie Butler.Biff Rose released his own performance of the song on his debut album, "The Thorn in Mrs. Rose's Side." This version was orchestrated by Arthur G. Wright.
David Bowie re-recorded the song and released it on his album "Hunky Dory " in 1971. It was a last-minute replacement for the song "Bombers," which was originally intended for that album.Nicholas Pegg (2000). "The Complete David Bowie": p.77]Guitarist
Mick Ronson is credited as arranger on the David Bowie version, though the rear sleeve on "Hunky Dory" includes the following notation from Bowie: "Mick and I agree that the 'Fill Your Heart' arrangement owes one hell of a lot to Arthur G. Wright and his proto-type", referring to the Biff Rose recording on which this performance was based.Bowie's version of the song also appeared on the Japanese compilation "The Best of David Bowie" in 1974.
