Vinga (Gothenburg)

Vinga is a small island ten nautic miles outside Gothenburgs harbour entrance, Sweden. The Vinga Lighthouse from the 19th century is famous not only as a beacon in the waterway of the Swedish west coast, but also as the place were the Swedish poet laureate Evert Taube grew up. Vinga is today a tourist attraction with boats to and from Gothenburg harbour.
