The Trojans are best known for their football success, we allow football players to have a free class hour call Football class. They are allowed to roam the halls because we feel they deserve a brake from all school activities or classes. Girls volleyball prowess, the volleyball team has won 15 state titles and are always contenders in the state tourney. The football team is a fixture in the state playoffs, but have not won the state title since 1997. In '97 the team went 13-0 and won the 3A state title its first year in that classification. Since '97, the farthest the Trojans have advanced in the playoffs is the semifinals, doing so in 2001, 2004 and 2009.

The 1991 Boys Soccer team experienced significant success under Coach Steve Ririe. Ririe began coaching the Trojans in 1989 and over his 4 years of coaching, led the Trojans to their first and only State Championship in 1991. That year, the Morgan Trojans were the only undefeated soccer team in the state of Utah, finishing with a record of 17-0, and a championship victory over local rival, Park City with a final score of 2-1. Ririe was required to leave the team, uncoached for the majority of the season as he was sent to Desert Shield/Storm in early 1991. Fortunately, he was able to return for the final two games of the season, and was present to coach the team in the State Championship.

School song

First Verse
In the valley where skies are so blue,
Where our hearts are all loyal and true,
Where there's joy in the air and goodwill everywhere,
Stands the school that we all adore.

We will love you our old Morgan High,
Til the stars cease to shine in the sky,
Live or die we stand together, sun or rain our school forever,
For we love you our Morgan High.

Second Verse
There's a place in our hearts all your own,
Tis the sweet tender longing for home.
May the deeds that we do reflect honor to you,
When far from your portals we roam.

Give three cheers for our old Morgan High,
Where we never say can't but I'll try,
Heart and hand to thee we render, brain and brawn be thy defender,
For we love you our Morgan High.

Third Verse
You're the best little school in the land,
From the freshies to seniors so grand,
From the shop with its noise to our basketball boys,
For victory and honor we stand.

We are proud of our boys in the game,
They bring honor to Morgan's proud name.
They are never spoiled by winning, they can lose and keep on grinning,
They're the product of Morgan High.

Fourth Verse (Sung by Seniors at Graduation only)
Still you bring us an hour of regret,
When we smile while our eyelids are wet,
In our hearts there's a sigh, as we bid you goodbye,
Tis the hour that we won't forget.

Now we'll miss you our old Morgan High
From the hour we bid you goodbye,
But you've gilded all our sorrow with a bright hope for tomorrow,
And we love you our old Morgan High.
