Burhaniye is a town and district of Balıkesir Province in the Marmara region of Turkey. The district is located on the Aegean coast and is known for its olive oil.

The ancient city of Adramyteion, which was an Athenian colony, is locaded on the western coast of the district. Burhaniye was previously named "Kemer", which means "aquedect", after the ruins of an ancient aquedect.
