Yōkaichiba, Chiba

Yōkaichiba (八日市場市; -shi) was a city located in Chiba, Japan.

The city was founded on July 1, 1954 and dissolved on January 23, 2006 when it merged with the town of Nosaka from Sousa District to form the new city of Sosa.

As of 2003, the city had an estimated population of 32,534 and the density of 402.90 persons per km². The total area was 80.75 km².
