William Elliott (RAF officer)

William Elliott (RAF officer)

Air Chief Marshal Sir William Elliott GCVO, KCB, KBE, DFC & Bar, ADC, RAF, (3 June 1896 – 27 June 1971) was a senior Royal Air Force commander.

During World War II, Elliott occupied a number of senior posts in the RAF, including Air Officer Commanding RAF Gibraltar and Air Officer Commanding the RAF's Balkan Air Force.
