Terrebonne ,Quebec ,Canada ) is aprofessional ice hockey left wing who currently plays for theSpringfield Falcons of the AHL. His NHL rights are controlled by theEdmonton Oilers .Jacques was drafted in the 2nd round (68th overall) by the Oilers in the
2003 NHL Entry Draft . Prior to his professional career, he played for four seasons with theBaie-Comeau Drakkar of the QMJHL. He made his professional debut with theEdmonton Road Runners of the AHL in 2004–05, appearing in 6 games as a late-season call-up.Following Oilers training camp for the 2005–06 season, Jacques was assigned to the
Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL where he played the first half of the season. He was recalled to the Oilers to replace injured forwardEthan Moreau , making his NHL debut on February 2, 2006, versus theColumbus Blue Jackets .Jacques wears jersey number 22 for the Oilers. As of January 2008, Jacques had yet to register a point in NHL play.
