Lisnarick (derive|Irish|Lios na nDarog|The Fort of the Oaks) is a small
village inCounty Fermanagh ,Northern Ireland , situated between theCounty Tyrone border and LowerLough Erne . In the 2001 Census it has a population of around 250. It lies within theFermanagh District Council area. The village itself is mainly residential with one multi-purpose store, restaurant and filling station. There is a sub-post office just opposite this establishment. The centre of Lisnarick must be the village green, complete with oak trees and a row of cottages at one side. A new development of housing flanks the other side on the grounds of an old hotel. This will almost certainly double the size of the village and also increase retailing opportunities.
Lisnarick now has a new development where the Golden Pheasant or Drumshane hotel stood consisting off apartments town houses and a new deli calle tullina on the green.
A par 3 golf course is also beside the filling station.
