October 5 1858 -May 31 1937 ) was an Americanfirst baseman inMajor League Baseball who hit 69home run s and batted .289 during his ten-year career. In 1888, he hit 13 home runs with 103 RBI and a .321 batting average.He was among the top ten of the all-time home run list from 1888 to 1892, but was never higher than seventh.
