Derek Nigel Ernest Blackburn (born June 16, 1934 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada) was a Canadian Member of Parliament from 1972 to 1993. He was elected as a candidate of the New Democratic Party in the riding of Brant in Ontario. Blackburn won the Brant seat in the Canadian parliament seven times: firstly in a by-election part way through the 28th Canadian parliament, and then in the general elections from the 29th to the 34th parliaments.
