Chabiba islamia

Chabiba islamia: Chabiba islamia or Chabiba Al Islamiya was a violent clandestine and extremist Moroccan, Islamist group founded in 1969 by Abdelkrim Motii and Kamal Ibrahim. Its goal was the establishment of an Islamic state in Morocco.

A group of legalist members of the defunct movement joined a small political party named the MPDC. This party has been founded by Abdelkrim Al Khatib and has then been later renamed to Justice and Development Party and is now the main Moroccan Islamist party.
