The Fiji Permanent Mission to the United Nations represents Fiji's interests in the international organization. It was established on 13 October 1970, three days after Fiji gained its independence from the United Kingdom. The Mission is headed by an Ambassador, who also has the title of Permanent Representative, currently Berenado Vunibobo.
