Charles Wiggin born 1922. A distant cousin to Albert H. Wiggin. Charles Wiggin sold his tea plantation in Ceylon in 1928 and purchased a stake in the Chase National Bank prior to the Wall Street Crash of 1929. Charles was educated at a preparatory college in Great Britain and then Yale. During his career, Charles resided in Europe, North America and Asia.
He was the 7th great grandson of Governor Thomas Wiggin, the first governor of the Upper Plantation of New Hampshire which became the Royal Province of New Hampshire and also 7th great grandson of the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, Simon Bradstreet. Charles Wiggin through his 7th great grandmother, Anne Dudley, was the 8th great grandson of Governor Thomas Dudley.
