The Stolen Minks are a Canadian band formed in fall of 2003 by four girls in Halifax, Nova Scotia. They were first considered rockabilly and rock and roll, though have evolved into garage rock and indie rock. The name of the band is a play on the words "minks stole". Influences of The Stolen Minks include artists such as Link Wray and Wanda Jackson. In April 2005, the band was voted best new local artist by "The Coast’s Best of Music" reader’s poll.

Their second recording, "Family Boycott" was picked up by the New Romance for Kids label. It was sold on their first tour in August 2006, and was officially released in Halifax in September.
