Ishtar Airlines is an airline based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, although it is a private Iraqi airline operating scheduled passenger services. History

The airline was established in March 2005 by a group of former Iraqi Airways pilots.

Destinations

Ishtar Airlines operates scheduled passenger services to the following destinations (at March 2007):

*Arbil
*Baghdad
*Dubai

It has plans to expand its operations to other destinations in Europe and the Middle East.

The Ishtar Airlines fleet includes the following aircraft (at February 2008):

*1 Boeing 727-200 (which is operated by African Express Airways) (5Y-AXE)
