-
The Chuncho are a native ethnic group in South America. At the time of the Spanish conquest the Chuncho lived in the forests east of Cuzco, in central Peru and dwelled in communal houses living chiefly by hunting. Chuncho has also been used to describe one of three aboriginal stocks of Peru, the others being Quichua and Aymara.
