Sheephole Mountains

The Sheephole Mountains are located in the Mojave Desert of southeastern California east of Twentynine Palms. The range is found just north of Highway 62 and northwest of the Coxcomb Mountains. The range is home to the Sheep Hole Valley Wilderness. The mountains reach an elevation of 4,613 feet, and lie in a northwest-southeasterly direction.
