Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer

Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer ( _cs. Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer) (1 September 1689 – December 18 1751) was a Bohemian [cite book | last = Jiroutek | first = Jiří | coauthors= Miloš Kruml, Martin Kubelík | title =Historická architektura : Věda, výzkum, praxe: sborník k poctě Milana Pavlíka | publisher = Jalna | date = 200ř | pages = 131 | isbn = 80-901743-1-0] architect Baroque era. He was the fifth son of the German architect Christoph Dientzenhofer and Bohemian mother [cite book | last = Jiroutek | first = Jiří | coauthors= Miloš Kruml, Martin Kubelík | title =Historická architektura : Věda, výzkum, praxe: sborník k poctě Milana Pavlíka | publisher = Jalna | date = 200ř | pages = 131 | isbn = 80-901743-1-0] and a member of the well known Dientzenhofer family of architects. As an architect he co-operated with his father and with Giovanni Santini.

Among Dientzenhofer's buildings are the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, the Church of St. Nicholas, and the Vila Amerika and Goltz-Kinsky Palace in Prague. He also built numerous churches and secular buildings in other towns of Bohemia. Many of his later projects were realized by his pupil and son-in-law Anselmo Martino Lurago.
